On our way again.

Well, we'll soon be off again, at least that's the plan. We are due to leave here on Tuesday the 17th July and drive off to Brisbane where we shall leave the landrover with some friends. Not going to rely on the relatives to pick us up at the airport when we come home this time, some friends will do so instead. The day we leave is also my fathers' 89th birthday.
This trip we are a little bit organized, an unusual quality for us. We are flying Royal Brunei to Brunei where we will spend 3 days, then we go on to London. We have a hire car booked that we are to pick up upon arrival then drive to our friends home in Arundel. We shall then spend a few weeks in England visiting friends and David's relatives before flying to Iceland.
On the 9th August we arrive in Iceland and will again have a hire car to travel around the country for about 19 days. It will only be a 2 wheel drive car so we won't be venturing into the interior of the country, never-the-less there are plenty of interesting places to see and volcanoes to erupt while we are there.
From Iceland we will depart by boat, the Polar Pioneer, on a cruise that will take us up the east coast of Greenland and will end in Longyearbyen on Svalbard. After spending about 3 days there we fly to Oslo where, hopefully we shall be staying with another friend for 3 more days before heading back to England on a cheap Ryan Air flight. After that nothing is decided, whoopee!
As I have said that's the plan, we shall all just have to wait and see if it works or not. Last trip we did have a little organized, the trip to Antarctica, but this time much more is organized. Not sure I like it but here goes!!!!!!!
